Reporting to the Vice President, Professional and Support Services, the Executive Director, Plant Operations & Engineering Services plans, directs, and leads the organizational functions which operates and  maintains plant operations, engineering services, real estate, facilities, and equipment.

The Executive Director will be responsible for the repairs, maintenance, and operations of the hospital campus, which contains 5 million square feet of facilities space, as well as the clinical & research equipment essential to the organization's mission. They will manage engineering processes to ensure efficient operations and optimization of labor, equipment, and resources, including work order management and the preventive maintenance process. The Executive Director will provide motivational leadership to a diverse facilities management team and the role requires process ownership, critical thinking, decision making, change management skills, and technical expertise. The select candidate will establish a vision for the department while managing and developing the team to ensure that all department policies, systems, processes, and personnel are aligned with corporate strategies.
