Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital (MHCOMH) was founded in 1951 and has grown steadily through the years, keeping pace with the growth of its dynamic home community of Gaylord, Michigan. OMH is a progressive, fully accredited community hospital and as of June 1, 2018 has become affiliated with Munson Healthcare of Traverse City, MI. Facilities operated by MHCOMH are McReynolds Hall, OMH Walk-In Clinic, the OMH Medical Group, OMH Medical Group—Elmira, OMH Medical Group—Indian River, OMH Medical Group—Lewiston, OMH Orthopedic & Rehab Services Center, and the OMH Cancer and Infusion Center.
Reporting to the Vice President of Professional & Ancillary Services, Director of Facilities plans, supervises, coordinates, and leads the activities of the facilities operations and maintenance functions relating to the physical assets, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, utilities and grounds of the Hospital. Organizes and coordinates the Safety and Security programs. The Director is responsible for planning and maintaining an efficient department, for administering labor and material controls, for training of department personnel in safety and for effective management practices.
With a staff of 13 +/- FTE’s, the successful professional develop and implement programs to maintain and regenerate the institution’s assets and insure effective operations. Although modest in size, Munson Healthcare Otsego Memorial Hospital’s environment is complex and high-paced and the Director of Facilities will be expected to support these activities.
