GeniSYS integrated project management team, known as GeniPM, provides project leadership and guidance for healthcare owners as they plan, develop, and execute capital projects. They set up the approach, build project teams, and manage activities from concept through occupancy. The integrated approach brings a unified team to each project. Importantly, the project team aligns with internal hospital resources that support project delivery, including C-Level leadership, Supply Chain, Accounts Payable, Environmental Services, Clinical, and Safety/Security. It is an integrated, collaborative partnership.
GeniPM is the national Planning, Design, and Construction provider for Steward Health Care. With national headquarters in Boston, Steward is the largest private hospital operator in the United States, operating 36 community hospitals 10 ten states. GeniPM is the sole PDC partner for Steward and operates in that capacity locally with hospital leadership on all manner of projects, from moves and renovations to new bed tower construction.
The Project Executive, Healthcare Planning, Design, and Construction (PDC) will lead GeniPM’s Florida Division with PDC accountability for three (3) Steward Health Care hospital campuses: Melbourne Regional Medical Center, Sebastian River Medical Center, and Rockledge Regional Medical Center. The Executive role extends across the life span of a project, from feasibility and conceptual design through planning, design, construction, commissioning, and user occupation for all types of healthcare projects, including simple finish upgrades, user moves, complex renovations, and major additions. The Executive will provide oversight and management to project teams, including hospital staff and the GeniPM Project Management staff.
The Executive serves as a subject matter expert consultant to local leadership with industry information and solutions that best develop design and construction value. Expertise will focus on feasibility, design, construction, renovation, energy savings, and capital equipment value analysis. The select individual must be able to credibly work with architects, consultants, construction managers, CEO’s, COO’s, CFO’s, department managers, and supply chain professionals. The Project Executive will report to the GeniPM Vice-President of Integrated Project Management and the role is based in Florida.
